Hi, I’m Nira. I’ve been a therapist for about 15 years. My earlier experience included inpatient training at Tufts Medical Center and work in emergency services before I joined the Brandeis University Counseling Center, where I spent eight years working with undergraduate and graduate students.
I especially enjoy working with young adults navigating academic pressure, relationships, identity, family expectations, and major life transitions. I also have a particular interest in supporting international students and others adjusting to life between cultures.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I help you slow down and notice patterns in how you think, feel, and relate to others, while also paying attention to parts of yourself that may be in conflict. Depending on what is most helpful, I draw from IFS, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and DBT.
If this resonates with you, I welcome you to send me a message via ThrivingCampus.
