Are you feeling strangely absent from your own experience, as though you're moving through life on autopilot? I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected from themselves and others, or uncertain about the life they want to be living. Let's slow things down and take a look at what keeps you stuck, noticing what’s been happening on repeat and what shifts when you begin to respond differently. This work is about making more space for presence, connection, and intentional living. Your body holds the wisdom for healing, and my role is to support you in reconnecting with your innate capacity. Together, we expand your capacity to feel, access inner resources, and experience greater ease and connection. We work with what’s happening in your body in real time, supporting embodied shifts that align with who you are now. If this resonates, it often means something has been running in the background for a while without much space to look at it directly. Let's begin to bring that into view together. Reach out for a complimentary phone consultation to explore if working together feels like the right next step. I am currently working under the direction of Dr. Sophia Aguirre and supervision of Carrie Gensler, LPC, CPCS in pursuit of advanced licensure as an LPC. I am currently in the first year of a three-year Somatic Experiencing® (SE) training program and integrate SE principles into my work.

I work with adolescents (12+) and young adult women who are struggling with perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-esteem challenges, anxiety, and relational difficulties. They are often adjusting to major life transitions such as relationship changes, switching schools, and/or changing jobs. Together, we will explore how these experiences impact your sense of self and help you build confidence, set boundaries, and find balance in the midst of change. I offer a trauma-informed, person-centered approach using evidence-based methods like CBT, gestalt, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. I am trained in Trauma Focused-CBT at the Medical University of South Carolina. I provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Getting started with therapy can feel like a big step and that’s totally normal. But reaching out is also a really brave move. Whether you’re ready to dive in or just exploring the idea, feel free to reach out. I’d be honored to support you and walk alongside you in whatever you're going through. You matter. You’re not in this alone.

I work with individuals and couples in Georgia who are seeking support for various mental health challenges. Many of my clients have difficulties related to anxiety, depression, and past trauma that get in the way of enjoying life and thriving to their fullest potential. I also work with people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, and related conditions. The foundation of my therapy is a collaborative relationship based on warmth and acceptance. I look beyond the mental health “condition” and seek to understand you as a person, influenced by your identities and past experiences. I will work collaboratively with you to develop goals for therapy and a plan to attain those goals. I provide a tailored therapy experience by utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy, emotion-focused couples therapy, and the Gottman Method. Overall, I seek to empower you with the skills to live a meaningful life based on your personal goals and values. Whether you are interested in individual therapy or couples counseling, I am looking forward to connecting with you and working together to create the change you are seeking. Who would you be if you believed you actually could? If you knew you already are? My approach to therapy centers on the belief that “healing is making whole.” Whether dealing with issues of addiction, depression and anxiety, self-knowledge and self-worth, sexual orientation and gender identity, trauma or relationship concerns, life transitions attention is, therefore, given to the whole of the individual – heart, mind, body and soul. So many of us feel stuck, repeating patterns of behavior we consciously experience a desire to let go of. What keeps us doing what we believe we don’t want to do is that we are disconnected from the places within us where our actions come from. In my work with clients I care most about helping others uncover their truth – without judgment. I see psychotherapy as an invitation and permission to reveal, explore and practice embodying the wholeness of who we are, in order to develop a greater sense of fullness, choice and empowerment in our lives. And I very much see psychotherapy as a partnership and a journey, one which I am repeatedly humbled and grateful to be allowed to accompany others on. In addition, as a certified yoga instructor, the teachings of classical yoga inform my psychotherapy work with both individuals and couples. Yoga ‘on the mat’ may be a possible element of our work for interested clients, but more often this takes the form of our exploring how to live and practice the principles of yoga ‘off the mat.’

I am a registered dietitian that specializes in eating disorders and is very passionate about helping my clients find food freedom. I work with all individuals that struggle with an eating disorder or disordered eating. I am passionate about teaching clients about the importance of adequately fueling the body, while allowing flexibility and permission with food choices. I can not walk this journey for you, but I can be there every step of the way to provide you with support, education, and encouragement. Together we will be able to work together to improve your relationship with food and your body. There is so much confusing nutrition information out there these days, so let me help you debunk the myths and create a relationship with food that fits YOU. My goals during our sessions are to meet you where you are at, while also providing encouragement and advice to help you create a better relationship with yourself and food. Finding freedom with food may feel impossible at this time, however, together we can work towards it!

I am so honored you found yourself here. I believe therapy works best when you feel deeply understood—not analyzed or rushed. Before I’m a therapist, I’m a human who values gentleness, curiosity, and compassion. It’s truly a privilege to sit with folks as they share their stories, their pain, and hopes for something different. I have a special passion for working with neurodivergent (or “neurospicy”) humans and those whose nervous systems have been shaped by trauma. Therapy with me moves at a pace that honors your body, your boundaries, and your unique way of being in the world. There’s no pressure to perform or “fix” yourself. My work is grounded in experiential and somatic approaches, meaning we don’t just talk about what’s happening—we gently explore how your experiences live in your body, emotions, and relationships. This can be especially powerful for healing complex trauma, navigating chronic pain and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have learned to stay guarded. If you desire to connect with a therapist that cultivates a safe space for you to explore healing without judgement and approaches your experiences with curiosity and empathy I invite you to this space. As a fellow neurodivergent, chronically ill, queer woman - I understand how exhausting life can be. Let us explore what living authentically means for you.

Hi! I'm a therapist licensed in Georgia and North Carolina. I help people who are feeling stressed and overwhelmed to better cope with challenges, change patterns of behavior that aren’t working, improve relationships with friends and family, and increase an overall sense of well being. By providing a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space, I help you explore how social, political, economic, and cultural factors impact your health and wellbeing. My approach is compassionate, culturally-responsive, and identity-affirming, with a social justice perspective. Both my life and work experiences have shaped my work as a therapist. My life experience includes growing up as a child of Taiwanese immigrants, living in Europe as an adult, and advocating for social justice. My work experience includes providing counseling at Duke University Medical Center, Elon University Counseling Center, and multiple therapy agencies. In therapy sessions, I use various evidence-based treatments to help you work towards your personalized goals. You can learn ways to cope with stress, how to not let your emotions overwhelm you, and how to skillfully ask for what you need in your relationships. Sessions are offered online via a secure format. Before beginning therapy with any new client, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to answer any questions and to see if we are a good match to work well together.

I am an integrative, humanistic therapist who draws from many approaches to best serve my clients. I place an emphasis on creating a secure therapeutic relationship to foster a sense of safety and openness for clients. As we go through life, we develop habits and coping strategies to protect ourselves. I respect these coping mechanisms for the important role they play in helping us navigate the challenges of life. However, sometimes the very strategies that once helped us can become limiting or harmful. My goal is to support my clients in letting go of those old patterns and in discovering healthier, more effective ways to move forward. My work is rooted in empathy and the deep respect I have for each individual’s unique perspectives and life experiences. Humans are resilient beings, and I hope to help you bring awareness to the resilience within you.
