Depending on the clinician, you will experience therapeutic skills building, developing mental health education, personal insights, and a little humor. If you're looking to make positive changes in your life, counseling can be just the place to start. My passion as a therapist is supporting women on their journey of personal growth, as they begin to change what no longer works for them and believe in their self worth. Whether it's coping with challenging life transitions, relationship difficulties, or healing from past traumas, we can work together to implement change and find happiness. I aim to create a space where you feel understood and at ease. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with individuals dealing with emotional difficulties. During sessions, my clients learn the skills they need to face everyday stressors more confidently. My approach is tailored to meet your needs by using a variety of therapeutic techniques. In my practice I have helped many clients improve their quality of life in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. I have specific training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Perinatal Mental Health, and Trauma Treatments. Karen Welch Buttars
I am certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. In this approach, we get to know the different parts of you — the ones that may overfunction, strive for perfection, people-please, worry, or carry painful emotions. Rather than judging those parts, we learn to understand them with curiosity and compassion. Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening internally, and help your system feel more balanced and connected. If faith or spirituality is important to you, we can absolutely incorporate that into our sessions. And if it’s not, that’s perfectly okay too.
Rise with Rose Counseling

I am trained in an approach called, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, where you can expect to learn tangible tools to build healthy habits, grow into your strengths, navigate unpleasant emotions, and overall empower you in your day to day. Heather Corazzini, PsyD
Seeking mental health care can be difficult and daunting for some individuals, as well as finding the right therapist. My initial goal when meeting with new clients is to create a comfortable environment to get to know you better. My focus throughout therapy is to facilitate positive change, identify patterns that get in your way, and help you build a life worth living. Part of that process invites you to acknowledge your inner strengths and autonomy, while challenging yourself in new ways, even if it's hard. I truly love this work and feel extremely fortunate to be able to do it. I'm happy to meet you over the phone or Zoom for an initial introduction before scheduling an appointment. Feel free to email me, and we'll go from there. I look forward to potentially working with you!

I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Thoughtful Psychiatry, P.C. I provide psychotherapy and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of stress related conditions. As therapist and prescriber, I try to pave the way for my clients to tell their stories and feel truly understood. I strive to provide a safe environment that allows for self-expression. While diagnosis can be helpful, I believe that each individual enters treatment with a unique set of circumstances, and that it is important to focus on the needs of each individual rather than focus only on his or her symptoms. I am interested in treating patients with all types of conditions, but have a special affinity for working with clients who suffer from anxiety and trauma-related conditions. Currently, I am accepting clients primarily for medication management. Clients seeking medication management should have a therapist in place.
Dr. Justin Lacasse at LifeStance Health
Dr. Lacasse is a board certified adult psychiatrist with specialized training in treating patients for whom non-psychiatric medical illness is also a concern. He offers diagnostic assessment and consultation as well as ongoing medication management and individual psychotherapy in Cambridge. He believes that collaboration and shared decision-making are key to achieving the best outcomes and works with clients to develop a treatment program that best meets their specific needs and is consistent with their values. His approach includes the use of medications and integrative therapy, combining principles of humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and wellness-based interventions that address elements such as restorative sleep, nutrition and exercise, and stress-reduction. Dr. Lacasse has a long-standing interest in understanding how social and cultural factors influence the expression and treatment of mental health concerns.

I specialize in treating anxiety/OCD and insomnia disorders. I also frequently work with depression, ADHD, self-esteem issues, social/relationship issues, school and work stressors, and perfectionism. I work with adults and teenagers, and I particularly enjoy helping young adults navigate life transitions (e.g. high school to college/work, career changes, breakups and new relationships). Additionally, I work with many individuals from a variety of backgrounds for whom a significant source of stress is current events and the political climate. I strive to make therapy a place where anyone can feel free to express themselves honestly. I incorporate multiple therapy approaches into our work, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness training. For sleep issues specifically, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), which the American College of Physicians recommends as the first-line treatment for insomnia. I work with many people who felt like they were stuck in previous therapy, and my goal is to make our work as productive and useful for you as possible. I love getting to know people and I customize my approach for each individual. If you are interested in learning more about my therapy services, please feel free to reach out by phone, email, or text!

Deciding to see a therapist requires awareness and regard for oneself. I have deep respect for what has brought you here, and this will form the foundation of our work together. Perhaps you seek therapy now because of a crisis that is presenting new challenges or bringing up old, unresolved problems. Or you now feel ready to address a long-standing pattern that has caused much difficulty and pain over time. Your struggles may be affecting not only your relationships with others but also how you relate to yourself. My job is to help you expand your capacity for what you can do alone. I offer a combination of psychoanalytic and CBT/DBT informed approaches while being mindful of both the universality and cultural individuality of our experiences. I have worked extensively with a range of people, from those in the throes of PTSD or addiction to ones dealing with transitions or looking for greater connection in relationships. I hold the conviction that exploration of the past is necessary as it influences and shapes our circumstances, while at times being present to our anxieties and resources in the moment is crucial. By coming here, you have already begun your work. If you think that I may be of help, let us have a conversation. It would be my privilege to talk with you.
