Finding a good therapy match is crucial to bringing about the change that you desire in your life. Working with someone where you feel seen, understood and challenged in a non-threatening way creates the safety to explore the unknown and grow into your full potential. I have been in private practice for 16 years and I trained and worked at Tufts University Counseling Center for 4 years. In the wise words of author Sharon Salzberg, "If I opened my heart and mind big enough to take in the suffering, then there would be healing- not because the suffering itself is redemptive or healing, but because of the opening I was cultivating in the face of it."

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive training in, and experience providing, evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and couples. I strive to create a warm, safe environment in which clients are encouraged to explore the connections between their internal experiences (thoughts, feelings, urges), external events, and behaviors. My approach is collaborative and aims to empower individuals to make mindful choices in service of their goals and values. I take an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, and I integrate other evidence-based treatments, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I'm available to support students who may feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain about the path ahead. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, adjusting to college life, struggling with self-doubt, or navigating relationships, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. The students I work best with are those who feel like they’re juggling a lot—academic pressure, personal expectations, and social challenges—but who also want to grow, find balance, and build confidence. Many of my clients are learning to manage stress, cope with feelings of isolation, or figure out how to communicate better in their relationships. My approach is collaborative, and I focus on helping you find practical tools that fit into your life. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating; together, we’ll work at your pace to help you feel more grounded and in control. I’m here to listen, offer guidance, and support you as you navigate this chapter of your life.

We grow in relationships when we feel seen, responded to, and appreciated. My goal is to build a therapeutic connection together that enables you to work on challenges you are facing while also empowering you to feel more connected to yourself and others. I provide a curious, caring, collaborative presence in the hopes that our sessions offer a space to take a breath, experience your feelings, and explore. My therapeutic approach is grounded in relational cultural therapy and psychodynamic therapy. I also incorporate narrative, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing in my work. I support clients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, family and relationship issues, ADHD, grief, and identity exploration. I have experience working with college students, including first generation and international students, and educators. I welcome all clients including BIPOC, queer, trans, and gender-expansive individuals. I am a former educator and work from a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective. I draw on attachment theory and systems theory to understand clients’ experiences in the full context of their lives, including how our identities, needs, and experiences are connected to our communities, cultures, and the broader forces that shape our well-being.

I am a queer cis white Ashkenazi Jewish woman providing therapy for individuals and people in relationships (such as; couples, poly relationships, siblings, housemates, friends). I have over 15 years' experience working with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in community health, drop-in centers, schools and private practice settings. My approach aims to provide a space that is welcoming of any issues (there is no right or wrong thing to talk about in therapy). I see therapy as a place to get to know ourselves more and identify our needs as well as how to express them to others. I also see therapy as a place for exploration, of identities, how we think and feel about ourselves, and a place to explore goals. It can be a place to improve handling of anxiety when it comes up, how to communicate boundaries to others, and improve the ability to feel organized and focused. Therapy can support processing of experiences of social stress; like understanding the impact of privilege and marginalization on one's day to day life. And how to support oneself while experiencing it. For people interested in relationship therapy or in relationships; the therapy can provide a place for identifying wants and needs, finding compromise, when necessary, improving communication and growing in one's ability to understand each other and improve navigation of conflict.

Looking for support during a life change? Feeling stuck? Then let's talk. Clients say I bring calm attention, humor, & creativity to all my engagements and that I help them center, increase awareness, build resiliency practices, and recalibrate communication and routines that have gone off-track. I hold certifications in IFS, mindfulness, nature/outdoor guidance, coaching, EMDR along with somatic and expressive arts practices. I've worked in multicultural, medical and educational settings supporting people of all ages - from children-to-parents-to-elders. A unique part of what I offer is to meet outside for walk-and-talk sessions and to explore ways that Nature can be a resource in your healing and grounding process. Nature reminds us that stability during change is possible and that we are always connected to larger things in this world, seen and unseen. In the spirit of Rumi's quote "what you seek is seeking you," let's work together to move you toward whatever calling you forward.

My goal as a clinician is to help you feel free. In treatment, I will invite you to bring your whole self into the room, as you are. Together, we will work to identify the ways in which you feel stuck and shift unhealthy patterns that keep you from moving forward. There is no need to "have it all figured out." All I ask is that you remain open and curious to the known and unknown parts of yourself. It is my hope that through our work together, you will begin to better know who you are, identify what you want, and live a richer, more meaningful life.

I offer specialized individual and group therapy for teenagers and young adults in Massachusetts, and I specialize primarily in trauma recovery, men’s mental health, and complex family & intimate relationship dynamics. I see patients both via virtual telehealth sessions and for walk-and-talk therapy sessions in nature when fitting. I am most experienced working with those coping with trauma, going through family challenges, grappling with their identity (e.g., men's/masculinity issues, faith and sexuality/coming out, racial trauma, social class), striving to be in healthy relationships, as well as those exploring therapy for the first time. I work from the belief that our relationships with others and ourselves can be a source of deep suffering as well as a powerful window into self-discovery, intimacy, and healing. Therapy with me is a blend of support, curiosity, humor, challenging honesty, and the freedom to be and feel just as you are. Reach out to see if I might be a good fit for you.
