Hello, and welcome. My name is Kathleen McGah and I offer a comfortable, confidential space for teens, college-age students and young adults to talk about whatever is on their mind, at one's own pace, and without judgment. When people have a safe place to practice putting thoughts and feelings into words, they find they grow psychologically stronger over time - and more satisfied with various aspects of life. I have worked with many students who, initially, have been hesitant to talk with a professional. (Even if one has had a counseling experience in the past, it can still be difficult to start with a new therapist.) It makes sense if you have some hesitation about taking this step. Only you will know if you are ready. If you have been struggling and think it would be good to meet with a therapist, though, please reach out.

Whatever it is that has you seeking out therapy, you should be proud of yourself for taking this first step and I’d love to help! As someone who has been in therapy herself and has experienced the struggles of managing mental health concerns, I feel very strongly about making the therapeutic space safe and approachable. I’ve been working in the field for six years and have experience with all sorts of people and their unique struggles. Ranging from anxiety and depression, to trauma and grief, my focus has always been on helping my clients gain insight and find a path forward. I believe that clients have the capability to shape their lives in a way that works best for them and that everyone has the capacity to learn new skills to help them manage the things that life can throw their way. Therapy can seem scary, but my goal is to help you feel as secure as possible and guide you through the process of building stronger coping skills and feeling more comfortable with being uncomfortable!
Everyone experiences distressing or overwhelming challenges at different points in life. Many people struggle to manage these inevitable difficulties, get stuck and then subsequently feel defined by their emotional pain. This can negatively impact relationships, ambitions, work and self-worth. I believe in people’s inherent right to live meaningful and joyful lives and in their ability to choose how to respond to life’s challenges. I support my clients through their courageous process of self-exploration and self-compassion. My therapeutic approach involves treating people as a whole: mind, body & spirit. This allows people to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and with the support of an authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationship, my clients are able to make the changes they want. My areas of specialty include trauma, addictions, depression and anxiety disorders. I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained. EMDR is recognized as a highly effective trauma treatment and allows people to heal from emotional pain that has stemmed from distressing life experiences. “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional” H.M.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, as well as other mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I work with individuals and groups, and received my Social Work training at the University of Pennsylvania. The techniques I primarily use are psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I strive to make my therapy environment calm and welcoming, and will help you navigate the challenges that you are experiencing as they come.
It can be extremely hard to navigate through life with all of the stressors we face on a daily basis. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and various challenges in college. It would be my great pleasure to work with you and to help you on your journey of growth and discovery.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental opportunity to reflect on what is going on for you and what you can do about it. Navigating life is hard. Transitions, losses, relationships, economic pressure, depression, anxiety, trauma, and everything else that comes with being human can be difficult to manage under any circumstances. We all need new approaches sometimes. As we get to know each other, we will draw from a variety of therapies based on what makes sense for you. One size does not fit all! I would welcome the chance to help you consider what to do with your one precious life. I know it takes courage to reach out to a therapist, whether you have had therapy in the past or not. Just know I'll always be glad to hear from you.
What I love most about my work is walking alongside people as they navigate life’s most difficult moments — grief, major life transitions, caregiving, serious illness, or the stress and uncertainty that comes with change. Life transitions can reshape how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our future. Big changes — divorce, moving, career shifts, chronic illness, or the death of someone you love — can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Therapy is not about “moving on” or “getting over” your grief or stress. It’s about learning how to carry life’s challenges while honoring your story. I specialize in relational therapy that helps individuals, parents, and families make sense of the grief, stress, and anxiety that often comes with life transitions, while building on your inherent strengths to achieve your goals. I use principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build practical skills for coping and managing difficult emotions. I strive to be an authentic, warm, and honest therapist that brings empathy, understanding, and a little lightness to healing. Please feel welcome to reach out for an initial phone consultation - I would love to see if we’re a good fit.
***VIRTUAL APPTS ONLY, WAITLIST AVAILABLE*** Are you hoping to better manage your mood, anxiety, health habits, or just day-to-day life? Do you ever feel challenged by certain relationships, cultural differences, personal gains or losses, or other significant life changes? All too often, you may find yourself involved in recurring conflicts, feeling repeatedly taken advantage of or misunderstood, or otherwise unsatisfied with your life for no obvious reason. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone. I will help you identify and set appropriate boundaries with the people in your life - including yourself - and ultimately grow into yourself in a way that feels authentic & genuine to you. Likewise if you are struggling with medical issues, have battled chronic illness for years, or want to work on your behavioral health preventively, my services may be a good fit for you. Informed by a longstanding pre-medical training background as well as personal experience with chronic illness, I will work with you to repair your mind-body connection by reshaping unhealthy thought patterns, changing problematic health habits, and learning to accept and cope with the messages your body is sending to you. Whatever the case, I will collaborate with you in an open and empathetic way to build coping skills, self-actualize, and attain your mental, physical, emotional, and lifestyle goals.
I offer virtual therapy for college students navigating anxiety, depression, and the overwhelm that comes with balancing academics, relationships, and independence. Many students I work with are managing the pressure of new responsibilities, identity questions, or feeling stretched too thin — I help them build tools to feel steadier and more in control. I'm bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural, and I especially welcome students navigating cultural identity, family expectations, or the experience of being between two worlds. Sessions are fully virtual, making it easy to fit therapy around a class schedule from anywhere in Massachusetts.

College can be exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. I specialize in working with college and graduate students who are navigating anxiety, academic stress, relationship challenges, identity exploration, life transitions, and the pressure to “have it all figured out.” Whether you’re adjusting to campus life, managing perfectionism, struggling with motivation, or feeling stuck, therapy can be a space to slow down and make sense of what you’re carrying. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. You are the common denominator in your life, my aim is to help you navigate and understand the deeper patterns that shape your experience. My role is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move through this time in your life with more clarity and confidence.
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming — I’m really glad you’re here. I’m Eniana Tabor, a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and founder of Serenity Wellness & Psychiatry. I provide telehealth psychiatric care to adults across Massachusetts. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and major life transitions. I have a special interest in perinatal mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum care — a time that can bring both joy and unexpected emotional challenges. My approach is collaborative and personalized. I believe effective mental health care considers the whole person — mind, body, lifestyle, relationships, and stressors. I take time to listen carefully, understand your story, and develop a treatment plan that feels realistic and supportive for your life. My goal is to help you feel more stable, supported, and able to move through your daily life with greater ease.
