Hello! I’m Ally (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe in using a holistic, person-centered approach that honors you as the expert of your own experiences. Navigating college life can be challenging, exciting and at times overwhelming. Whether you are adjusting to a new environment, exploring your identity, managing academic pressure, dealing with anxiety-- you are not alone. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and respectful of your journey. You deserve a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to be yourself. I’m here to support you. Together we will work on building insight and developing healthy coping strategies. Using a blend of mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused techniques, we’ll work together to find what resonates best for you and your unique situation.
You are important and your thoughts and feelings matter! Therapy is your time to take care of yourself. It is the opportunity to explore, problem solve and sort out your thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive way. With over 25 years of clinical experience, I have successfully worked with clients of all ages and struggles. I partner with you to help you identify and understand your patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are contributing to your emotions and struggles such as depression, anxiety, frustration, and feeling overwhelmed and/or stuck. We then explore, analyze, and select solutions that work best for you. My therapy approach is based primarily in cognitive behavioral therapy with a solution focused perspective. I partner with you to help you gain an understanding of the reasons why you are struggling and develop an action plan to help you overcome and achieve your goals and potential. Therapy is an active and engaging process. I provide a supportive and accepting environment for you to express yourself fully. An environment that allows you to feel safe to explore, learn, and develop solutions and skills needed so you can overcome your struggles and reach your goals. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey of self-care.
Hi and welcome! My name is Rhonda Matlack and I have been a Licensed Counselor since 1998. Counseling historically has been something that society has been ashamed of hence many people have suffered needlessly due to lack of support. I'm here to tell you that seeking support and moving toward emotional wellness is deserving of every individual from any walk of life. It is my philosophy that those who reach out for heIp, those that take the risk to be better, those that face their fears will have a sustainable life pattern of coping that leads to wellness. We are all made unique, each one of us is made to serve and benefit in this life with a purpose. Last, I believe healthcare should be made affordable to all, therefore I have a very low sliding scale to offer folks. Get in touch to learn more.
Our clinicians are trained in a variety of modalities. This allows us to tailor our approach to the needs of our clients. We all believe that the therapeutic relationship is paramount to the therapy experience and strive to provide a supportive environment to explore past experiences and address issues in the present.
While I feel that anyone could use the extra help and insight therapy provides, my specialities include issues related to college, job/career, and women’s issues. You deserve the opportunity to be heard and held as you face challenges. Through compassion and humor, I will work with you to cultivate the unique and special relationship between therapist and client that will help guide you. I offer an eclectic approach, borrowing from mindfulness, relational, CBT, attachment-focused, and other modalities. My approach is based on the individual needs of the client, rather than a one-size-fits-all. I come from a place of cultural humility, respecting gender, sexuality, social and racial justice. I understand how each individual is more than the sum of their parts; rather than pathologizing, I support each client as they identify and then build upon their strengths.
I work with clients who feel stuck—whether that’s in their relationships, thoughts, careers, or life in general. My goal is to help you feel less stuck by providing collaborative, direct support focused on problem-solving and implementing lasting solutions. I believe therapy should help you gain insight into who you are at your core while also building the tools you need to face challenges with confidence. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm inviting space where I’ll be honest and hold you accountable to your goals. I aim to cultivate a healthy sense of challenge that encourages you to work toward meaningful change. My hope is that you’ll feel grounded and supported as we tackle life’s difficulties together.

The Counseling Corner is a group of dedicated clinicians who take pride in providing quality mental health care. As a mental health practice, we assist members by providing therapy to a wide array of people who are in pursuit of happiness. Our team is comprised of exceptional clinicians with a variety of specialties to ensure we give you the best support possible. From our founder: I wanted to take a moment to share something deeply personal and meaningful to me. At 23, I faced an unimaginable loss when I lost my mother to alcohol addiction. It was a painful journey that led me to struggle with my own mental health for nearly a decade. During that time, I often searched for a purpose and a way to turn my pain into something positive. Today, I’m proud to announce that I’ve opened this mental health practice. We are building a team of incredible clinicians, each of whom shares a commitment to help others navigate difficult times and find hope and healing. Our goal is to create a safe space where people can feel understood, supported, and empowered on their journey to wellness. We’re here to save lives and help individuals reclaim their strength. If you or someone you know is looking for support, please reach out. Thank you for allowing me to share this journey with you. Navigating the complexities of being human can be as rewarding as it is complicated. Our journeys are filled with moments that require us to muster resilience, practice self-compassion, and foster hope—even when the path seems unclear. It's not uncommon to find ourselves ensnared in cycles of negative thinking that foster shame, grappling with emotional regulation that impacts our relationships, or struggling to stay anchored in the present, affecting our decision-making abilities. At K & K Holistic Counseling, we are dedicated to guiding you through these challenges, helping you cultivate a life of significance and joy. Our mission is to offer a therapeutic environment that is both welcoming and collaborative, focusing on the individual as a whole rather than a constellation of symptoms. With our expertise in DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, we partner with you to set and achieve goals that resonate with your deepest values. If you are prepared to embark on a journey toward breaking free from counterproductive cycles and embracing a more fulfilled existence, we invite you to connect with us.

I work with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, family dynamics, identity development, school and peer stress, self-criticism, emotional disconnection, and life transitions. My goal is to offer a warm, thoughtful space where you feel deeply heard, gently challenged, and ultimately supported as you make sense of your experience and begin to relate to yourself and others in new ways.
My name is Sarah and I am a therapist, coach and community organizer. I specialize in working with activists, organizers and politically left gen individuals who struggle with burnout, overwhelm and balance. You may be struggling with self-doubt, fear about the future and compassion fatigue. I can help with that. I work with individuals who are navigating trauma associated with living under capitalism. During our first few sessions together, we will begin to bridge the gap between your pain and systematic structures that impact you deeply. You'll begin to experience yourself as part of a whole community, not just an individual. Therapy with me will be political, restorative, healing and empowering.
Many of us wrestle to find hope in our lives, move forward, or just make it through the day. Depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and loss can take away motivation, causing struggle and suffering. This can change. Perhaps you're determining which life path to take or are dealing with the wounds of past trauma, abuse, or painful experiences. You don't have to carry this weight alone. I provide an unbiased, nonjudgmental space to explore what is hindering you and overcome obstacles in healthy, supportive ways.
I'm a therapist who is here for you, exactly how you are and where you are. Connecting with someone you can build trust with is the first step to building our therapeutic alliance. We all experience stress and challenges in life. These events, whether big or small, stay with us, often showing up in our thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and bodies. Carrying our burdens takes a toll. Recognizing these impacts in ourselves can be complex because our brains are doing the hard work of protecting us. I help adults manage daily stress, life transitions, self-doubt, career stress, relationships, and identity challenges. You're welcome to connect over a free 15-minute consultation before deciding to book. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in non-profit, hospital, school, and community behavioral health settings. I come to this work rooted in a deep commitment to social justice. I use a personalized, integrated approach to match you and your needs best. People typically leave the first session feeling heard, validated, and proud of themselves for investing in themself. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space for healing and growth. My approach is collaborative, following your pace. It's focused on helping you to give yourself the grace to build practical tools towards change.
For my entire career, I have worked mostly with teens and young adults as well as families. I am practical, straightforward and yet supportive and compassionate. I offer straight up feedback & suggestions as well as support. I often treat anxiety, depression, mood disorders, transitions, trauma, relationship & family issues, and academic challenges. Additionally I run weekly therapy groups for teens and young adults. I also have two associates who work in my practice who are also quite skilled and experienced with young adults and teens.
Many of the students I work with are used to functioning well despite feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally worn down. Some are struggling with trauma, difficult family relationships, or recurring patterns in their relationships that they don't fully understand. Others are trying to manage ADHD while balancing school, work, research, or family responsibilities. I'm also interested in working with students who are trying to make sense of themselves in the context of the world around them. That might include questions about identity, culture, community, or the emotional impact of social and political events. If you're someone who feels deeply affected by what's happening around you, therapy can be a place to think through those experiences rather than carrying them by yourself. My approach is collaborative and guided by curiosity. I don't assume there are quick answers or a single right way to do therapy. Sometimes our work is about understanding the patterns that keep repeating in your life. Other times it's about dealing with whatever is most pressing right now. Most of the time, it's both.
