Hi my name is Brandee Silverman I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and owner of Relationship Revive Therapy. I specialize in attachment-based therapy for college students and young adults. A lot of the people I work with feel anxious in relationships, stuck in overthinking or OCD loops, or emotionally worn down by managing a chronic health condition. In therapy, we focus on understanding your relationship patterns, calming anxiety, and building a stronger sense of safety and security with other people and with yourself. This is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out, just a place to feel supported and more grounded. I currently have early morning, late evening and weekends available to accommodate the busy schedule of college life. Please feel free to reach out and schedule a free consultation with me to see if we might be a good fit!

Every person can heal and my role is to provide you with support, feedback, education, and therapy interventions so that you can. My counseling approach is collaborative and together we will: gain a better understanding and decrease anxiety & depression, focus on your needs, improve your relationships, confidently handle school stressors. I view therapy as a deeply collaborative and relational process. Together, we will work to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences, patterns, and emotions—helping you build insight, create meaningful change, and foster personal growth. By gaining greater self-awareness, you can begin to navigate internal and relational challenges, explore the connections between your past and present, and move toward a more intentional and fulfilling future. My approach integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, with a strong foundation in psychodynamic and relational therapy. I am also extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I use to support individuals in developing emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I strive to provide person-centered care within a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment. Our work together will center on understanding your experiences more fully and finding ways to respond to them with greater clarity and intention.

Kristen is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor working her way toward independent licensure. She enjoys working with individuals ages 6 to 60 across an array of mental health diagnoses and areas of concern, whether in individual or family contexts. She adopts an integrated approach to her therapeutic style, pulling from several evidenced-based models of counseling, largely utilizing elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and its derivatives as well as Psychodynamic and Humanistic theoretical models. Through this, she recognizes the need for and ensures that each client and/or family has a tailored plan to address their concerns and achieve their goals. Kristen is also motivated to specialize further in trauma-focused care, especially for individuals struggling to cope with grief, ADHD, and Autism. In her free time, she loves engaging creatively by painting, drawing, and making jewelry; and spending time with friends and loved ones including her cat Monroe.
I provide a therapeutic space that supports rapport-building and builds upon clients’ strengths. One of my approaches is to empower my clients to implement skills and techniques provided in sessions that help symptoms of anxiety, depression and relationship conflicts.
I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care for adults and young adults in New York and across over 40 states through PsyPact, with virtual therapy tailored to each client's unique needs. My practice is especially supportive of undergraduate/graduate students, healthcare professionals, and those managing anxiety/mood concerns, identity development, or academic/professional stress. I have also received advanced training in postpartum mood/anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International, which allows me to help new parents dealing with perinatal concerns. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and relational psychotherapy, and provide documentation for out-of-network insurance reimbursement and sliding scale rates when needed.
I believe the relationship between client and therapist is what is most important in the therapeutic process. Feeling safe and comfortable is what will allow you to challenge yourself to be vulnerable. Building trust together is what makes the works we will do transformative. My 19 years of work experience thus far has prepared me in various ways to be a support to others. Most recently, I have worked directly with the college student population at a local university. My efforts with college-age students have reminded me just how difficult the transition between high school and the world, between youth and adulthood, can be. Navigating those decisions, molding a new identity, and learning about responsibility: these challenges require empathy and encouragement. My focus is a time limited therapy—understanding the root of the issues occurring and offering tools and support to ultimately make myself obsolete. I work out of an emotion focused lens, offering EMDR to manage and treat those destructive, rooted themes that arise in one’s life. I believe in the work I do. I believe change is possible because I have seen it, and I have lived it. There is nothing more exciting for me than to witness another’s curative process. Congratulations on taking this step towards joy and serenity, towards a more conscious, self-assured way of living.
I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice where I see adults and adolescents. I am here to support and encourage you to reach life goals that will enhance your overall feelings of peace, joy and belonging. I provide a safe and nurturing environment that enhances the therapeutic process and encourages my clients to identify their strengths and embrace positive change. My therapy model is based on Aaron T. Beck's development of cognitive behavioral therapy. This approach identifies the distortions in our way of thinking that drives our emotions and behaviors. By identifying distortions and redefining them we can than choose an emotion and behavior and feeling that fits our new way of thinking. My goal is to provide a therapy model that incorporates mind, body and soul wellness. I am presently accepting new patients and I am credentialed through most of the major insurance plans. Please reach out by email when possible.
