Hi! My name is Mandy Schramm. I've been working in the mental health field since 2015, but practicing counseling since 2020. I'm currently an LPC at Soluna Mental Health in the Woodlands, TX. I have Master's degrees in both Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, postpartum concerns, ineffective coping skills, poor social supports, and trauma. Most of my clients have struggled with unresolved trauma resulting in mental or behavioral issues. I aim to provide a safe space for those who are struggling to process the root of their issues so that they can adopt healthy coping skills to implement in their daily lives. Your past does not have to define you! Give yourself the opportunity you deserve to grow from your experiences and shape your future.
We are a group practice offering individual, couples and family therapy. We are also a state-licensed Treatment Facility, offering outpatient care for clients with Substance Use and Co-occurring disorders. We accept most major insurance, and also offer a sliding fee scale. If you're interested in scheduling an appointment, please complete our "new client" form on our website, and we will reach out to you!
Healing starts now! My name is Romy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. I am here to support you towards healing and I am proud of you for taking this step. When times get tough, I can help you figure things out or simply help guide you in the right direction. I have over 12 years of experience working with clients who are in college, living with stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship concerns, career challenges, self-esteem, domestic violence, sexual assault, intergenerational struggles, and other life challenges. As a Latina therapist, I understand firsthand the cultural pressures to always be the "fuerte" (strong) one, the responsible person of the family, and the constant cycle of people-pleasing at the expense of your own well-being. My therapy style is empowering, accepting, warm, and compassionate. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, DBT skills, problem solving, and motivational interviewing. No matter what issues you are facing, I will ensure that my therapeutic approach suits your unique needs. I work with young adults from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds. I also have a passion in supporting the challenges BIPOC communities face. When we meet you can expect a safe space to explore any life challenges you are facing without judgment. Together, we will honor your roots while unpacking cultural expectations, setting healthy boundaries, and building practical coping skills to help you heal, reclaim your peace, thrive, and increase your overall satisfaction with yourself. I am currently accepting new clients and I look forward to meeting with you.
College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming. Between classes, relationships, friendships, family expectations, work, and figuring out who you are, it's easy to feel like you're supposed to have everything figured out when you're still trying to find your footing. I'm Grace, and I'm a therapist who works with young adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, identity, and the pressure to "have it all together". My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgement-free. Therapy isn't about telling you what you SHOULD do. It's a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and build a life that actually feels like yours. Whether you're struggling to manage the demands of college, feeling disconnected from yourself, navigating a difficult relationship, or simply feel like something is "off", you don't have to figure it out alone. We can work together to understand what's underneath the stress, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and help you feel more confident moving forward. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. Feel free to email me to set one up. I can't wait to meet you!
It's wonderful you're taking the step to care for your mental health! I have a heart for college and graduate students and understand the unique stressors of university life, such as academic pressure, social anxieties, and the transition to independence. I am also passionate about helping individuals explore how their cultural and ethnic identities and upbringing interplay with their mental well-being, including the experiences related to cultural identity and navigating multiple cultural spaces. My background as a teacher, HR professional, writer, wife, mother, and therapist has broadened my empathy and understanding of diverse experiences. I graduated with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University and am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), a well-researched method for trauma. I offer a collaborative therapeutic approach, and utilize many researched methods tailored to your individual needs. I understand that family history and early relationships can significantly impact mental health, so I often begin by exploring these areas. Together, we'll create a plan to achieve your goals. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, but I have a special fondness of college and graduate students during this unique time of exploration and adjustment. Please reach out, and let's figure things out together!
Hi there! I’d love to speak to you about problems you’re facing. Issues may include anxiety and depression stemming from academic concerns, adjustment to college life, relationship struggles, career and financial stress, all of which are common struggles to have during these formative years. I work well with people who have underlying traits of perfectionism, fear of failure and rejection, and people who struggle with shame-based thinking. Uniquely I have experience working with individuals who have cultural adjustment issues, eating disorders, and people who have moderate to severe mental illnesses. If you find me to be a good fit, I’d love to consult further on how I can help! And thank you for taking your time to read this.
Welcome! Starting therapy is a big step. I understand how overwhelming it can be to experience anxiety, stress, or intrusive thoughts. It takes courage to seek help, and I am so glad you are here! Therapy is most effective when it is tailored to you and uses research-backed treatment. I use evidence-based methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). These therapies are supported to alleviate symptoms and empower you to reclaim your life—returning to activities that anxiety may have previously taken you away from.

Feeling stuck, lost, or like you're balancing too much at once? College can be exciting, but it can also leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who you are and where you're headed. Whether you're navigating relationships, family expectations, career/academic stress, life transitions, or the pressure of figuring out your future, you don't have to do it alone. As a first-generation individual, I'm especially passionate about supporting BIPOC students, first-generation immigrants, and children of immigrants through the unique challenges that can come with balancing different worlds. My path started by working in alternative high schools, and then as a career counselor in management and business development roles for a few universities and military populations. I have over 18 years of experience working in education, career development, and mental health. My experience growing up in Flint, Michigan, and being the first in my family to attend college, shaped how I view and overcome challenges. I specialize in support for working professionals, especially teachers, nurses, and students with anxiety or depression who are struggling in their careers, education, or relationships. Many feel stuck, burnt out, angry, and overwhelmed. Chronic stress makes it hard for them to connect with their instructors, bosses, and peers. Time management is an issue and constantly trying to keep up. Some may prefer to be alone, even though it leads to ruminating over traumatic work experiences and substance use. My clients have demanding jobs and/or class schedules, and are highly trained and accustomed to solving problems. However, no one is immune to the long-term effects of stress and trauma. I have over 18 years working in counseling, higher education, and career development. My communication style is warm, yet solution-focused, often encouraging you to think from the end, build your resilience, and focus on the future. Some clients get what they need to make a positive change in 6-8 sessions. Others enjoy my long-term support to address trauma. First time trying talk therapy? Congrats on taking the first step. I value confidentiality and understand the college campus and workplace cultures. You do not have to go through this alone. Let's get you out of survival mode and start to thrive. Reach out to schedule your complimentary 15-minute consultation today. I look forward to talking with you.
College can be exciting, but it can also be a lot harder than people expect. You may be dealing with stress, anxiety, loneliness, relationship problems, family concerns, academic pressure, uncertainty about your future, or simply feeling overwhelmed and not quite like yourself. You don't have to wait until things become a crisis to talk with someone. Sometimes nothing is terribly wrong. You may just need someone to talk to who isn't a friend, parent, professor, or roommate—someone you can be completely honest with without worrying about being judged. I offer a warm, comfortable, and judgment-free space where you can talk openly about what's going on in your life. You don't need to know exactly what to say or even be sure that you "need counseling." We can start with what's bothering you and figure things out together. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience, I understand that college is about much more than earning a degree. It's also a time of tremendous personal growth, change, and important life decisions. Sometimes having an experienced professional to talk with can make those changes feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more manageable. My approach is easy-going, practical, and down-to-earth. Counseling with me isn't about judging you or telling you how to live your life. We'll build on your strengths, work through what's getting in your way, and find realistic ways to help you feel more confident, hopeful, and in control of where you're headed. I also know that finding a therapist who has availability and fits your budget can be frustrating. I offer convenient telehealth appointments including daytime, evening, and Saturday availability. I accept students with insurance as well as private-pay students, with a special discounted rate available for college students who choose to pay privately. I also offer Therapeutic Chat Sessions and Mentoring for those one-time or "need some guidance" times in your life. Whether you're working through a difficult time, facing a life change, or simply need a safe person to talk things through with, you're welcome here. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Come as you are. We can start there.
After graduating in 2013 from the University of Houston - Clear Lake from the Marriage and Family Therapy program, I worked in the non-profit sector offering therapy services to both children and adults in the Houston area. I am fully bilingual in both English and Spanish, and I am trained in different treatment modalities to help tackle problems with trauma, anxiety, and adjustment.
Please, allow me to navigate this life-changing journey with you. You are not alone.
