My name is Angela Udeh, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a rich background in medical and mental health Registered Nurse in a Trauma 1 acute care hospital (Parkland Hospital Dallas). I bring a wealth of experience in providing comprehensive mental health care. With a deep understanding of both emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient settings. I specialize in supporting individuals with various psychiatric conditions, always approaching each case with empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. My experience working in a diverse community coupled with my ability to speak and understand English language, enables me to effectively connect with broad range of clients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and understood. I am enthusiastic about helping my clients achieve mental wellness, and work collaboratively with them to develop tailored treatment plans that promote both immediate relief and long-term stability. DISCLAIMER: Not prescribing Controlled Substances and Stimulants in TX When collaborating with me, clients can expect compassionate, respectful, confidentiality, and non-judgmental approaches that prioritizes their mental health and well-being. I believe in creating a safe and open environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. My goal is to collaborate with everyone to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their unique needs, goals, and values. I take the time to listen, educate and empower my clients to take an active role in their healing journey. With a focus on evidence-based practices and cultural humility, I aim to provide care that respects each client’s background and individual preferences. My process begins with acknowledging the client’s presence, explaining to the client what to expect during the session, which includes break down of the session into two parts: basics and the main subjects. This includes comprehensive assessment where I gather information about the client’s background – medical, mental health, social and current concerns etc. This initial session allows me to understand the individual’s unique situation and start building rapport. After assessing their needs, I collaborate closely with the client to establish treatment goals and create a tailored plan that may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both. Throughout our work together, I maintain an ongoing dialogue to monitor progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and ensure the client feels supported and empowered. I believe in holistic, collaborative approach that includes open communication, transparency, and a commitment to fostering a positive therapeutic relationship.

Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us. There seems to be no one who can see it, but you’re just about ready to tap out. Your plans have been laid, and you’re ambitious and determined, but inside your motivation fades and your fears are growing. You’ve spent the last few years running the race, jumping through the hoops you thought would keep things together, yet it doesn’t seem like there is an end. You’ve given everything to others and now you are the one who feels left behind like no one understands. No more. It’s time you make a change As a licensed clinical social worker, Chardé assists children, adolescent and adult clients utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including a holistic approach, a play-centered approach, trauma- focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Holds an additional certification in anger mnmt Chardé believes therapy should be a collaborative experience between the therapist and the client; a team pursuing a path to wellness and peace. Her goal is to empower her clients to move past trauma and mental obstruction to a more positive, happier realm of human possibility. You need to find a place where you feel comfortable. Let's chat!

If you are trying to figure out who you are and where you’re headed, you are not alone. This stage of life can feel exciting one minute and overwhelming the next. You might look like you have it together on the outside, but inside you are stressed, anxious, burned out, or unsure of yourself. The students I work best with are thoughtful, self-aware, and trying hard to “do things right.” You care about your future. You want meaningful relationships. You want to succeed. But you may also feel pressure from family, academics, social media, or your own expectations. Maybe you overthink everything. Maybe you procrastinate and then criticize yourself for it. Maybe you feel lonely even when you are surrounded by people. Some of the students I work with are: -Adjusting to college life or struggling with the transition -Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on edge” -Navigating identity questions around career, relationships, culture, or sexuality -Recovering from a breakup or friendship shift -Dealing with perfectionism or fear of failure -Questioning whether they’re “good enough” In our work together, we create space to slow down and really listen to what’s going on beneath the surface. Therapy is something we build together, a place to be honest, ask hard questions, and try new ways of coping. We will make sense of what you’re feeling, practice tools to manage stress and self-doubt, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded and more like your own. You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to reach out. If you’are willing to show up as you are, we can start from there.

Welcome! My name is "Dr. Ed." I'm a Ph.D.-Diplomate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston and Governors State. In our multicultural world, therapy is a safe place to respect your values and honor your strengths! √ I'm 4.6 rated with 60+ reviews on HealthGrades, United Health, Aetna and Cigna. My treatment philosophy is built on respect and appreciation of the dignity for each person I work with. Let me emphasize this one more time, YOU don't have to settle for a poor self-image from negative experiences nor settle with poor relationships with your family, spouse, kids and yourself. Let's figure it out..together.. My therapy specialty is working with adults, couples, families, and pre-teens who are dealing with feelings of rejection, grief, and situation anxiousness-including balancing family and work-life stressors. I greatly appreciate listening to the adult male voice in relationships and families. Learning ways to bridge the gap in communication styles between men and women, parents and children, is important work! Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a core faculty member for nine years at Capella University-graduate and doctoral programs in Social Work and Public Service Leadership. Outside of work, Dr. Ed enjoys traveling to Barbados, Cancun, Houston Rodeo, is active in the KAY fraternity, and is an Astros and Cubs fan. Do you ever feel like your mind just won’t turn off—replaying conversations, worrying about things that haven’t even happened yet, and finding it impossible to relax? Many of the people I work with experience these same struggles. They often share that they feel exhausted, disconnected, and like their lives lack meaning as they work tirelessly to keep it together on the outside. Anxiety, depression, and trauma can quietly weave their way into our lives and, if left unchecked, can take control and lead us into a downward spiral. Let me help you lighten the weight of these burdens and begin healing together.
